Drax Power the UK's largest coal fired electricity producer will become the country's largest biomas generator.  Drax has plans to build 3 biomas fired power stations in a joint venture with Siemens.  Work will start in 2010 and the first site will be operating by 2014.  The fuel for the power stations will be forestry residue, agriculture by-products and energy crops.
